Can you tell the difference between mined diamonds and the IQ Diamond?

Visually, the IQ Diamond Hybrid is identical to diamonds and it is impossible to distinguish between the two without magnification or testing equipment.

Like a mined diamond, the IQ Diamond is extremely hard and durable and has a high refractive index to give it the same intense fire and brilliance as an earth-mined stone.

We set our IQ Diamonds in solid, heavy weighted, handcrafted 18k gold and platinum diamond settings so only YOU will know it’s an IQ Diamond. Even a highly skilled jeweller will have trouble distinguishing the difference by naked eye.

Simply put, diamond is carbon. Gem dealers, jewellers and the diamond industry in general have spent millions trying to convince you through clever marketing, that anything less than a mined diamond will be a disappointment. The IQ Diamond is a Hybrid Diamond that contains exactly the same arrangement of Sp3 carbon bonds that are found in natural diamonds. It does not share the high cost or ethical issues associated with conventional diamond jewellery - No other product on the market can make that claim.

Will my IQ Diamond go cloudy & dull?

The IQ Diamond Hybrid is precisely engineered and formulated not to fade, discolour, go cloudy or lose its brilliance for the lifetime of the stone, unlike cubic zirconia jewellery which always looks dull and unattractive after a while.  Simply clean your IQ Diamond as you would any other diamond jewellery and it will always look beautiful and sparkly!

Could my IQ Diamond scratch glass?

Yes! Since the IQ Diamond has a surface hardness the same as a natural diamond of 10(Mohs)* and glass is around 6.5; the IQ Diamond can easily scratch glass.

* The Mohs Scale gives an indication to the hardness & scratch resistance (ranging from 1-10) of gemstones, diamonds measure 10, which is at the hardest point.

What about durability?

Our IQ Diamond is very durable, extremely hard and can easily handle the elements of everyday wear. On the gemstone resistance scale, the IQ Diamond has an outer shell hardness of 10(Mohs), the same as a natural diamond.

Treat your IQ Diamond like you would any other precious gemstone and it will give you a lifetime of enjoyment. As with natural diamond jewellery, remove when engaging in activities that could damage your jewellery such as rock climbing!

Will the IQ Diamond test positive on a diamond tester?

No, it will not. Even though the outer layer of the IQ Diamond Hybrid contains pure carbon, the same physical & chemical structure found in naturally occurring diamonds, the carbon layer is given a tracer to test negative for ethical reasons. Therefore, the stone will test negative for diamond.
Diamond testers only measure heat conductivity, they do not detect the presence of Sp3 carbon bonds found in diamond.

Can the IQ Diamond delaminate?

The IQ diamond is literally infused into the high tech ceramic core at molecular level. The outer diamond will not flake, chip, peel or delaminate from the gemstone. The IQ Diamond is backed with a full lifetime guarantee, that no other diamond alternatives, including cubic zirconia jewellery, can match.

What happens if my diamond ring is the wrong size?

KinetIQue offer a resizing service for those rings that may need resizing, despite great efforts to get it right the first time!

All resizing work will need to be returned to us, to keep your guarantee validated. Our workshop will resize your ring for a much smaller charge than other jewellers. Simply return it to us, insured with the postage, we will resize it for you and return it. KinetIQue will cover the cost of the return postage, back to you.

How do I pay?

Payment is by credit or debit card via our secure server. We can also accept payments via PayPal or cheque - please contact us if you would like to use these alternative forms of payment. 

How secure is it to send my credit card details over the internet?

We have a secure server through which we process all our payment transactions. However, if you would like to pay by credit or debit card by phone please contact us detailing the item or items you would like to purchase with your name and telephone number and we will contact you to arrange payment and delivery.

How long until I receive my order?

As our diamond jewellery is made to your exact requirements and each gemstone is handset, we typically plan for a delivery date of between 10 to 15 working days from the date when your order is placed.

How is my jewellery presented?

All diamond jewellery purchased from KinetIQue is presented in our beautiful signature packaging.

For added protection and security, KinetIQue delivers all diamond jewellery in a larger outer box, complete with your packing slip, detailing your order and a written guarantee.

Our high quality boxes are carefully wrapped using crisp coordinated tissue paper, then finished with exclusive KinetIQue ribbon and ready to use as a gift.

Whether it’s a solitaire engagement ring or a diamond pendant for someone’s birthday, we’ll make sure your diamond jewellery is presented as attractively as possible.

Yes, please complete your order via our website using your card's billing address. Once you receive your order confirmation, just contact us to let us know the correct delivery address. We will update your order and send you confirmation of the revised delivery address.
